How to Interact With a Jamling Song

FAQ:

Where can I get a 1/4" to 1/8" inch adapter?

These little doo-dads are available from most music stores and Radio Shack. They should be less than $5.

I want to use my amp. Can I still plug in to the computer?

If your amp has a line out, you can take a cable out of that directly into your computer. If not, you'll need to use a microphone (or the internal microphone on your computer) to record your amp.

It sounds like there is a monster in my song - lots of weird crackles and the song is too fast or slow. Why?

Go to the 44100 hz text in the upper right hand corner of your screen, click it and select Audio Preferences. Click on Audio>Device and be sure the "Request Sample Rate" button is pressed. That should solve it!

There's a long delay between when I play the note and when I hear it through my speakers or headphones. Why?

PC: Be sure you've downloaded and installed ASIO4ALL and watched the video on Installing Reaper.

If you've already followed all of those instructions, try restarting your computer and starting Reaper with no other programs running.

MAC: Your Mac should be configured to achieve minimal delay, so try restarting your computer and launching Reaper with no other programs running.
